Three-phase Motors Are Classified By Motor Speed

1. Constant speed motor has common cage type, special cage type (deep groove type, double cage type, high starting torque type) and winding type.

2. The speed control motor is equipped with a motor with a commutator. A three-phase parallel-excited wound rotor motor (rotor control resistor, rotor control excitation) is generally used.

3. The variable speed motor has a pole-changing motor, a single-winding multi-speed motor, a special cage motor and a slip motor.
